Old disc
I’ve been wanting to move this old disc out of the yard as it’s not being used and taking up space in the yard. The first step was to drag it out to where I can hook onto it and lift it up to haul it over to another spot across the road. Dragging it out will get me started on a way to rig it up to move it.
Metal rack construction
Then I worked on welding up my new metal rack. I’m doing all the finishing touches today and hope to get it finished up.
Chickens
I was sitting, watching some chicken’s getting a dirt bath.
Neighbor’s diesel problem
When my neighbor came by saying he’d made some progress on getting the injector pump to work on his rig, but now had a problem getting it all back together so I went over to check it out and help him out. We solved that problem and it’s all set to put it all back together.
Main problem
The main problem he was having solving his diesel injector pump problem is he wasn’t clean enough to keep all the little microscopic dirt particles out of the unit when he was putting it back together. I told him to take it all apart and clean it all up and keep things clean while he put it back together, so I think he is good to go. Mainly you have to rinse each part in diesel to wash it clean before putting each part back in the unit to remove any dirt particles that can’t be seen.
I finished up the metal rack and now it’s ready to move it into the garage and load it up with metal. Somehow I’ll have to make a spot in the mess to get it in there and then I can start to tidy things up a bit.
