Flat tire
I got a call from Barry first thing this morning. He’d run over a piece of his firewood up in the forest and he had a blow out on one of his trucks tires and put me on standby in case he couldn’t get his spare tire on.
Ride in the forest
After a bit, I rode my dirt bike up there. He had successfully got his spare on and was heading down to my place so we could go for a bike ride in the forest.
I rode on home to meet Barry at my place for the bike ride. When I went on down through the state park, I ran into this guy with this trailer and wondered what he was doing.
Turns out he was support for a documentary that was to be shot up here in the park a bit later. The trailer looked like maybe a bathroom and changing rooms for the documentary people.
Forest ride
I met Barry at my place and we went for a ride up into the forest. We rode all around and stopped here so Barry could remove this little tree off the road.
Eventually we ended up at our break area at the top of the hill.
The view from there today. The haze seems to be moisture in the air from the forest or maybe from the ocean.
We rode around some more and stopped here so Barry could trim some brush back off the road so we wouldn’t get hit in the face with it when we rode on by.
We had a good ride and went back to my house where I went in for a short nap.
Park guys
Later in the day I rode up into the state park to chat with the maintenance guys about a few things. Of course we always end up shooting the bull some.
Tarp repair
Back home, I got the tape out to repair the torn tarp I started to mend yesterday
I taped both sides of the tarp and hope it holds.
