Raining
The day started out raining until around noon it changed to showers and mostly stopped. Although I did get a couple more rain showers when I was out checking on the old dirt road late in the afternoon.
Old dirt road
I rode on up the road checking it out for any water problems from the rains. It mostly looked real good which was good.
I did stop here to make sure the water was going across the road. I’ll be rocking this section more in a day or so as the rains are supposed to let up some.
With the old road looking good, I moved on down this road.
Overlook
Which led to this overlook where I stopped to rest and enjoy the forest.
Most of the rain clouds had moved on by.
Pond
From there, I rode on over to the pond. It’s good to have a pond just for a place to go on by while riding around the forest.
And a drink of water is also good
I got a drink of water at this pond filler pipe which comes down from a spring which is just above the pond.
Getting late
I rode around a little more then headed for home as it was getting late in the day.
I was sitting in one of my chairs in the yard when I noticed the sunset to the west.
