Road work
I needed to put some rock on the old dirt road as there might be some rain coming in and I needed to repair some of the tire ruts.
So, I headed up through the state park and got my rig going.
I repaired this crossing some to get the water to flow better.
And I hauled some rock to this area, the steepest part of the road, to fix some tire ruts.
Almost stuck
I almost got stuck in this part on the left. It was wet and soft and Skiddy sunk in it pretty bad so I had to haul quite a bit of rock into it to fix it up to get it in this shape. That also told me to quit while I was ahead as things are still pretty wet and I was making things a bit messy.
I pretty much got what needed to be done, done.
Park’s kiosk
I headed for home from there down through the state park. Here’s another photo of where the parks kiosk building used to be, before a truck smashed it. The park guys cleaned it up.
Back home a nap was in order.
Culvert clean out
Eventually I went over to our property to this creek.
The culvert there needed the sticks cleaned out of it to prevent a plug up.
I carefully got down there and carefully removed the sticks without getting wet.
Then it was back home to chair hop around the yard with my chickens.
Nice day.
