Park kiosk
It looks like the park’s kiosk got some rafters and some walls. I heard they are waiting for the right size doors and windows to come in to finish it off or at least to get most of it done.
Road work
I had nothing else planned for the day, so I went on up through the park to where my rig was parked and got to hauling more rock on the road to build up it’s bed in some spots, especially the steepest part.
I applied rock to this part of the road today, the steepest section.
Eventually Skiddy was getting low on fuel so I had to stop and fuel up.
I still had a few hours left in the day so I went back to hauling rock. Not very exciting, but the road needs the rock.
I also worked on improving a couple of the water crossing ditches as some of the cars are hitting the ground as they cross the ditches.
I headed for home around six.
Chainsaw
Since I got the wrong part the other day, I needed to take the old part off the saw so I could read the part number on it and order up the right part.
And the rest of the day, I spent chair hopping with the chickens,.
Nice day.
It would probably be too easy for them to go to Home depot and just use standard doors and windows, no the state has to spend lots of $$$$ to order custom doors and windows, just because it is the way they do everything. Here is hoping Doge come to CA and cleans out all of the dead and dying wood in the state government, starting with Hair Gel Newsom.
