Park kiosk
I noticed a guy was working on the state parks kiosk today as i drove on by. But it seems the holdup is they are waiting for the windows and doors to be made to the right measurements.
Road work
I had a little work on the old dirt road to do today, so I drove on up there using this road.
And on up through here.
Road work
I drove on up to where Skiddy was parked and started it up to warm up a bit.
I needed some rock on this spot where I covered up a ditch that crossed the road. I dumped this load of rock and went back up the hill to get one more load.
I smoothed out the rock and that was all I wanted to do on working on the old road today.
Visiting
With the work done, I decided to go see if a neighbor was at his property today, so I headed on over to his place where I found the main gate open. I found Cliff picking up trash on his property. He just got the property that’s been in the family for years and the previous family members left a lot of trash for him to clean up. I think there’s almost 20 old cars and trucks on the property that he wants to get rid of.
We had a good visit and I drove up to another neighbors who lives close by, but didn’t find anyone home.
It was starting to rain, so I headed for home and a nap.
