Rain
We had two inches of rain so far from last night as my bucket gauge shows.
It was still raining so I put my rain gear on and hopped in Hondo and headed for the hills up this road in the state park.
I rode on up through here. This is a part of the road I was able to get some rock on recently.
That was mostly because it is near this rock slide. It’s slowed down some but some rock is still falling, but, so far, not enough to close the road, at least not today.
I continued on up the road, going through this gate.
I stopped to talk with a guy here putting brakes on the black rig.
I continued on up the road to Jim’s place. I found him burning some brush near his house.
Road work
We got in Hondo and went down to check out the road I’ve been working on rocking. We fixed a few things here and there so the road drains better in the rain and were back at his place in about an hour.
From there, I headed on back down the road, headed towards home.
Rock slide
I stopped at the rock slide to clear some rocks off the road.
That will do for now, until more rocks come down.
Looking up, it looks like more rock and maybe a tree or two might come down.
I made it back home and got out of my rain gear and took it easy for the rest of the day.
Nice day
