Rainy day
It was mostly a rainy day. Not raining hard, but raining. The rain slowed down just after noon, so I got my rain jacket on and rode on up through the state park to check on the old dirt road.
The park was mostly empty today.
I let myself through the gate and onto the old dirt road to check it out.
The road wasn’t too bad.
I worked on this water crossing a bit.
And this one. Eventually, I plan to make these water crossings different, but I need the rains to stop to finish the crossings off. I also need to put more rock on the crossings to make them the way I want them so there is no maintenance, or a least very little maintenance.
I continued on up the road to check it out, when I heard a truck coming up behind me.
I pulled over to let the truck by.
I continued on up the road but didn’t need to fix anything else, so I headed back down the hill going by this broom which is just starting to bloom.
I made it back to my place. I fueled up my Skidder with the fuel I had left, then went to town to get some more diesel. The light rains started again so I spent most of the rest of the day in the house taking it easy.
