Road work
I needed to do some work on the old dirt road before the next rain storms hit in a few more days. I rode on up through the state park and got Skiddy going. The old road is pretty muddy from the recent rain storm, but most of the road has some rock on it and some places don’t have enough rock yet.
That all meant I was going to be hauling more rock most of the day. I got a load of rock from this rock slide.
And hauled it about a half mile down to where it was needed on the road, going down here.
I worked on getting this water back in it’s ditches and then hauled a lot of rock to this area to cover up any muddy spots.
The water was running clear down to here, so I worked on getting more rock on this part of the road.
When I get enough rock on the road, it gets packed in and looks like this.
I got this part rocked in too. I think it will take another day hauling rock to finish this part of the job to be ready for the next rain storm.
I got done about five and fueled up Skiddy to be ready to go tomorrow.
