Sleep In, Puttered Around and Worked on the Van’s Roof Leak a Bit

Not a good sleeping night

I didn’t sleep much last night as my corn stuff is active, so I spent most of today catching up.

Before I knew it it was 4PM so I got the stuff ready to work on the van’s roof leak some more.

The leak

The roof is leaking mostly where the van’s roof meets the body in the gutter. They had some sealer on it that lasted about fifty years. But it was old and it needed to come out so I worked on removing the pieces, piece by piece. I’m only doing the back section as that is where the leak was.

And some rusty holes

Once I got most of it chipped out, I cleaned it out to have a look. I found these holes in the gutter that had rusted through which I will need to repair.

Worked until I got tired of it

I worked on that until I was tired of it and then mostly just sat around in the yard and puttered as the sun went down behind the mountain to my west.
