I was thinking of going up and doing some work on the old road water crossings today.
But I wasn’t really into it, but finally I did head on up that way, late in the day.
I checked each water crossing on the way up the road to where Skiddy is parked and still wasn’t into working on fixing anything,
Instead, I rode up and down the road several times checking each water crossing and what I needed to do to each one to make it better.

This crossing is working pretty good, but with just a little adjustment, I can get the water across the road in a better way. I have this one, rolled out, to make it easier for cars to get over it without scrapping.
I stopped to look at this area. A spot where all kinds of water popped out of the hillside during a heavy rain storm. It’s almost dry enough now to do some work on it, so I checked it out too.
This is part of that real wet spot above. I’ll need to do some ditching here to keep the water off of the road, until it gets to the water crossing spot, down below.
After checking out all the crossings several times, I felt better about working on the road, but not today. I’ll get a fresh start on another day.
I headed on home for a nap.
