Road work
I continue to work on the old road as stuff needs to be done to make the road better now that there is a break in the rains. Less rain means I can get more stuff done, with a little less mud.
I drove on up into the forest and fueled up Skiddy, then got started hauling rock.
I’m not just hauling rock but also fixing some of the water crossings to make them less steep and to take some of the bump out of them. I’ve had some reports that cars going over the crossings are hitting the front undercarriage on some of the cars.
No one is complaining as this road was terrible before I started fixing it up.
I widened this one out to make less of a bump for the cars. No problem with the trucks. Everyone using this road has some sort of four wheel drive.
I worked until about six with the extra day light.
The state park was almost empty when I traveled through it on the way home.
The little green plants are sorrel.
