Wood For Smoking, A Visit, and Those Darn Blackberry Vines

Smoking wood

I was looking around for some more wood to use for smoking fish. I saw some apple wood on the ground in my neighbors apple orchard, all cut up and piled up an an old stump.

I got my wheel barrel and went over and got the wood and got my chainsaw out to cut the wood in smaller pieces.

I cut these pieces of wood into smaller pieces for smoking and hauled them over to the smoking area. Now I’m ready to do some more smoking soon.

In the mean time Tom is doing some smoking so I went over to see if he needed some advice on the subject. I found him working on one of his golf carts. Seems the front end needed some work.

He seemed to be doing ok with his fish smoking so I left him at it.

Visit

A bit later in the day I hopped on one of my dirt bikes and rode it up through the park and on up to my cousin’s place for a visit. They were home so we had a good visit, then I rode on home down through the state park.
