I didn’t do much today. I mostly sat around the house and yard and took it easy. I let the chickens out into the front yard this morning.
Skidder problem
I did call John Deere to find out what they found out with the error codes I gave them the other day.
The main error code was, moderately low fuel pressure in the fuel rail.
The did have something on that one. It seems when the manufacturer of the fuel tank, they left some plastic shavings in the tank that eventually clog the elbow coming out of the tank.
The guy said I could fix it or they could come out in about a week to fix it. I decided it would be better if they came out to fix it.
Fortunately, I got all the main road stuff done so I wasn’t real pressed to get it fixed right away.
However, during the day, I decided to have a look at the machine to see how hard it was to get to the elbow to take it apart.
I got the boom up and the operators cage raised up and all locked into place.
I threw an old blanket in there to lay on to have a look.
The problem was I found two fuel lines with elbows and don’t know which one is the fuel tank output. I’ll need to call them to find out which is which.
