Side by side ride
I took off and headed for the hills after putting a shovel in the rig.
My first stop was at this spring to clean it out a bit so the water flows better.
Pond
Then I rode on over to the pond and looked for a yellow jacket nest in a hole by the inlet water. I looked and looked but could not locate it in the ground.
Fish
Even though the ponds water level has been dropping fast the little fish are doing just fine.
Water hole
Then I rode on down to this little water hole to divert the drain water to where it will drain down to where the waterfall is down below this level. I want to drain the water more to the left side with a little ditch I need to make.
Here is another view of this little water hole.
The drain ditch wasn’t too hard to shovel out despite a few rocks. You can see the ditch towards the back.
Now the water is flowing the right way towards the waterfall down below this area.
That little dich should dry up this big muddy area.
