Cleaning tracks
Skiddy’s been up in the hills for quite some time now and the tracts need cleaning so today is the day to get it done.
I think I spent about three hours hosing the mud off. It’s sticky stuff and well packed in.
Moving woodchips
After a good break from cleaning tracks, I started to move these woodchips around fruit trees in my yard.
I moved the woodchips from these piles
And I dumped them around the trees. I didn’t spread them out. The chickens will do that in due time. They are good little helpers.
Here’s another spot where I’m putting the woodchips. I got a good start on this project, but still have plenty more to do.
Checking track tension
At the end of the day, I raised Skiddy up like this as this is what you do to check the track tension. Both tracts were in spec, so I didn’t have to adjust anything.
