Headed for the high country
We are headed up this road to do some exploring. We are headed up into the mountains looking around and always an eye open for a camp site.
It didn’t take long to get up to the higher roads.
They’ve had a lot of forest fires up here over the years as a lot of the trees were dead.
There were a lot of nice vista views up here as we drove along.
Going through another burned area.
The roads were easy going.
And quite scenic with all the big rocks.
We are coming down to Antelope Lake where we hope to find a camp site near there. There are only fee based camp sites at the lake, which we do not use.
Some clouds were forming up in the afternoon, but no rain.
No fee camp
We went to a place near the lake that we knew about that was no fee and more to our liking.
