Fire prevention
Yesterday when I went by my cousin’s place there were a lot of tire tracks on the road, meaning the fire prevention guys were doing fire prevention on her place.
I decided to go up and see what the guys were doing today.
There’s a guy up in the trees cutting out limbs over the house.
Here he is for you guys who have bad eyes. 
They also have to clear out all the brush around the house, back 100 feet. They have this nice little machine to help them move the brush. They’ll pile up the brush and cover it with wax paper to keep it dry and then burn the piles when the ground gets wet this winter.
The machine is pretty good at moving the brush around.
I shot the bull with the guys for a bit, then left them at it.
Spring work
On the way home I stopped at this spring for a drink of water and to remove some old black plastic pipe, just so things would look better.
There’s several pieces of the black pipe, so I hauled it away, down the road a bit.
That looks much better without the black pipe.
Removing windows
I was almost home when a neighbor stopped me and asked for some help removing these old window glass pieces so he can put some newer windows in. Those big sheets of glass were real heavy and hard on the back, but we got it done.
Once home I did some chair hopping around the yard.
I trimmed a bush which made this pile of brush, I’ll drag to the brush pile later.
Metal rack work
I needed to put all that metal on the floor up on the metal rack so I got started being as careful as I could on my back as it was starting to hurt a bit.
The rack is filling up. I have most of my metal on the rack, but there’s still other pieces laying around the garage that need to go up there, but that’s enough for one day.
