I Didn’t realize I Hadn’t Eaten Beef In Over 20 Years

Another putter day

No peel egg salad

Last night I decided to try something I learned on YouTube about making egg salad without peeling the hard boiled eggs

It works like this. Crack the eggs into something that fits into my Instant Pot. I used a silicone cheese cake mold pan and here it is full of thirty eggs in the Instant Pot ready to cook.

The eggs are about four inches deep. I cooked them for ten minutes but they weren’t quite done so I gave them another five minutes. Perfect.

Then I dumped them into a big bowl and mashed them up. I then made some mayo and mixed that in too and into the fridge it went.

A bit of a problem

Yesterday I had a problem with the runs and all night too. This all happened after eating the nuts the other day but the real problem is not the nuts.

Wrong bugs

I think the problem is I ate too much beef the other day. And I think the problem is I haven’t eaten any beef for about 20 years and I don’t  have the right bugs in my gut for it and I over did it on the beef.

I’ve mostly been eating chicken for quite some time now.

At least that’s what I think happened.

Backing off

So I backed off today and ate my usual eggs and potatoes to clear things up I hope. Once I’m back to normal I’ll try the beef again in  much smaller amounts. I really do want to get this beef eating thing going as if I can it will really help  my eating problems with my corn allergy.

So far tonight, so good.

Suns out

So this morning I could see it was going to be a slow day but at least it had warmed up a bit and the sun was out.

I started the day sitting here.

And I got over and visited with some of my neighbors for some of the day.

Calling chickens

Around 4 I called to the chickens, here chick, chick, chick and they come running to the gate.

I then let them out to graze.

They  just came through the gate and are running to the carrot patch.

Some of them veered off to this spot.

This is the carrot patch after the carrots have been harvested and they are slowly cleaning it all up.

I was able to catch one of the chickens that have been getting out early and clipped her wings.

Suns moving North

Every day the sun is  moving a bit more north. That means it sets a bit more to the right every day which is easy to see as it goes behind the mountains. It will soon be setting in those big trees on the right.

So that was my nice slow day.
