Culvert work
I finished welding up the culvert piece I’ve been working on and got it loaded in Hondo for transport up into the hills.
Hanging planters
Before I left I got these hanging planters dumped of soil and brought them out where my neighbor can get them. She asked if she could have them as I’ve been neglecting them and they were overgrown with weeds.
Installing the culvert piece
I drove on up to the culvert I’m repairing. Most of the prep work was already done, so I just had to remove the sticks and drop it in.
Rocks
Then I drove on over to the rock slide area and loaded some rocks to rock the new piece in a bit. I plan to bring Skiddy up here tomorrow and dump some gravelly type rock on the road there.
Eventually, I’ll build up the road bed here so it’s a bit wider
Home for a nap.
