Forest ride
Barry showed up this morning for a bike ride in the forest, so I changed my plans for the day and joined him.
Right away we ran into this on the trail. A double heart, with one collapsed. 
Barry popped it and put it in the trash. Only dumb people would let these things go into the air and pollute the environment or maybe they are just ignorant.
We rode around for a bit then Barry wanted to go up into the back park a bit, so we had to go through Rob’s place.
We made it through the gate and are on our way to Rob’s house.
Rob has a fairly nice view from his place.
Out of gas
Just as we pulled into Rob’s place, my bike ran out of gas. Lucky Rob was home. He gave me some gas and him and Barry discussed electric bikes as Rob has some and Barry just bought one.
From Rob’s place we headed over to the back of the park but ran into some park trail guys. I shot the bull with them for a bit and decided maybe we better not cross the park to get to where we wanted to go with them around.
Nicest view around
So, we headed back to Rob’s place and went up to this homesite that has one of the best views around. The house burned here during the last forest fire and the guy died shortly after that. We checked out the view.
You have a 360 view from up there and can see a long ways.
From there, we hopped back on our bikes and headed back to our place and rode around a bit. We had to go back through Rob’s place to get there.
Water
We needed a drink of water so we stopped at this spring to get one.
Break time
From the spring we headed over and up to our break area at the top of the ridge for a break.
It was a bit smoky out there from some fires nearby.
We were both tired out so we headed back to my place and Barry took off and I went in for a nap.
I had some plans to work on Skiddy’s bumper upgrade, but never got around to it and just sat around and enjoyed the day instead.
