Shopping

I needed some stuff so I needed to go to the shopping centers to get it in the city.

Most of the places I needed to go I knew where they were but one of them, I needed to locate.

My car comes equipped with a GPS system but I’m not very good at using it, but I tried.

My biggest problem is I didn’t know what to say to access the part that I could just talk to it, or make the map go point north so I could understand it.

After much trying, I found the place, using my phone. I certainly need to learn how to use the car GPS system or go crazy.

Anyway I was able to get most of the stuff I needed, except the thing I needed the most which was a clutch cable for my dirt bike. I found the shop, but they’d have to order it, darn.

I went to the cycle shop to get it faster otherwise I would of ordered it up already. I ordered it up when I got home.

The other problem I had was how to stop the GPS system once I’d gone to my programed destination. I had to listen to it all the way home telling me to turn here and turn there, some of them were dead end roads. It’s hard to figure all this stuff out when I’m driving, but at least I know now what I need to learn, I think.

Once home I unloaded the car and then ordered up the clutch cable. There’s few strands of the cable left on the one on the bike so I hope it holds up until I get the new one.

Forest work

After all that stress in the city, I needed to wind down a bit so I rode on up into the forest and worked on the trail for about an hour and got a bit of exercise.

I had this easy part to widen out a bit and got to work on it.trail

Like I said that was an easy part. I have a little more of this type of stuff to do on it.trails

I got back home just before dark and that was my day.

Nice day, despite the city stuff.

GPS is a mixed blessing as I have learned from traveling with others. It’s on my phone, but my car doesn’t have it, and I find it difficult to even consider when I am behind the wheel. Glad you made it hone to the good place.

It would be nice to know a few 18–21 year old people when the latest technology is” a huge task to understand “,
instead of something that quickly helps us ..My granddaughter almost went into a ditch at 50mph because her GPS said Exit Here when she was a few yards from a hughwatexit ramp. ..
I’m going you got home safely,Mary
