Headed for the shopping centers
I’ve been putting off going to the shopping centers to do some shopping for about a mouth now, so I was out of most stuff and needed some stuff to do some projects.
I got out of here just after noon and hit the parts house first. I needed a new alternator for my van as the one I have makes some noises like the brushes are not good. I always go to Cindy as she’s the best one of the bunch and knows more about the old stuff then the newer guys and always finds the parts I need even if they aren’t in the books.
Next to the hardware store. among other things I needed a new Pulaski to replace the one I broke the handle on. For some reason the brand I use is getting scarce and the price has doubled, but mostly no one had one. I did find one but it was four pounds instead of the 3.5 pound one I like. I guess I’ll have to fix the handle on the one I broke.
I did get some fencing wire I needed.
Then to Wal-Mart to get a lot of little stuff I needed and found most of that.
And the last stop was Costco to get some stuff to eat and got most of that and a few other things too.
And last night I ordered a half dozen things from Amazon so I should be set for shopping for awhile now.
Anyway, after shopping I was pretty beat as walking around those big stores hunting for stuff, the miles add up.
It was home for me. Unloaded most of the car that needed to go inside and left the rest for later.
It was nap time for me and that was it for me today.
Nice day.
I actually enjoy a shopping trip but it is very tiring. For me, the trick is to go when I have no time limit or nothing is easily found for some reason. LOL
The thing about Costco – no matter what’s on your list, you always come out with EXTRA!!! plus a huge receipt of your donation. :)
Glad you got most of what you were looking for.
Shopping is harder than a dirt bike ride into the mountains even if you don’t stop on rest on the ride up.
I so dislike shopping and have to go today.
