Work At Our Rental and Some Trail Work

Work at the rental

I worked at our rental unit upgrading the bathrooms a bit.

I needed to hook up the new sink faucet, so I got that done first so I’d have some water to clean up with when replacing the toilet.

Next I needed to remove the old toilet.

Then I installed the new toilet. It was almost too big and the door barely shut, but it did.

Now I have to get the main bathroom worked on, but not today. This was the spare bathroom and I was happy to get this one done.

While I was working on that, these tree guys from the power company removed a couple trees which were under their power lines.

Once I’d gotten done what I wanted to do on the bathrooms today, I went home for a break.

Around 4, I rode on up to the trail I was working on to do some work. The plan was to widen this part of the trail out.

And put dirt over the root from this tree to cover up the root.

I worked on that for about an hour and a half and got most of it done, except this little piece which I will get later.

I did get the root covered up and most of that part of the trail widened out.

After that, I sat around on the trail for awhile just enjoying the evening in the quiet forest.

On the way home, I stopped at my brother’s chickens to collect the eggs

I collected the eggs.
