Road work
I went on up and put some fuel in Skiddy.
Road work
I took off and it bucked a few times then cleared up and I got some work down on the lower part of the road and down in the state park. I was just finishing up when it started to buck again and it stalled a couple of times too. I headed back up the hill where Hondo was parked. I had to go slow as it was bucking a lot and I barely made it.
Called John Deere
I called them and the guy asked me if it threw any codes. No and he said he couldn’t fix it.
What. I paid good money for a new machine. I said I couldn’t accept that. What the hell was he thinking. Can’t fix it, especially when it’s under warranty. I insisted.
So, we made an appointment for a guy to come out to check it out. Shouldn’t be much of a problem finding the problem as it was acting up real good coming back up the hill.
It acts like the low pressure fuel pump is failing to me, but I’m an old time mechanic, not just a code reader type like most of todays mechanics are.
Chickens
I went on home after that and sat around with my chickens taking it easy.
They pretty much follow me around as I move from chair to chair.
When I went out to close the main gate for the night, I found these two chickens were out on the main road. These are two I just got from someone for free. They did come home to roost tonight, but if they continue to go out on the highway, I doubt they will last very long.
Nice day.
