Steel fabricating
During strong winds the other day, Barry’s big umbrella stand broke so he needed it fixed or a new one made. Since the old one was out of aluminum which I don’t have a welder for, Toms fabricating a new one for him made out of steel.
Neighbor appointment
I had an appointment to go up to talk to a neighbor about fixing his road up, so I had to leave them to it.
I rode on up to Jim’s place and found him getting things ready for me to do the work, when I get skiddy fixed. We got in Hondo and we rode on up his main road to discuss what he wanted done.
Bike ride
On the way home, I met Barry riding his motor bike and said I’d meet him back at my place and we’d go for a bike ride in the hills.
So we met and we took off for our bike ride in the hills With the strong winds few days ago, some trees were down cross the roads. This was the first one. Barry is smiling because I said I would cut this one with the hand saw I carry on the bike.
Barry got this rare picture of me cutting the tree off so we could clear the road and pass on by.
We rode around a bit and eventually ran into this one that looked real heavy and hard to move. Barry was able to just move it a little so we were able to just barely get under it.
Just past that one we ran into this one that we couldn’t move and get by so we turned around and went another way.
Break area
We were headed to the hill top to our break area.
Always a nice view up here.
Brother Tom showed up so we shot the bull and enjoyed the view.
After a good break we took off for some more riding then made our way back to my place.
Trail Cam Pictures
During our ride I picked up all the trail cam cards and reviewed the pictures on them tonight. I don’t usually show most of these as a lot of the night shots aren’t always very clear. The cams also take videos which are much clearer, but they are a pain for me to post on the blog.
