Trail Work
It rained a bit early this morning before I got up, so the forest ground was nice and damp.
Back to the trail work I went. I needed to widen this spot in the trail as it was too narrow and the water pipe was showing too so it needed some more dirt on it.
I added a few redwood limbs to help hold the dirt to widen out the trail.
I worked on it for about three hours to get it like this.
I was beat and could barely move so I sat in my chair and enjoyed this view for a bit. I think it tried to drizzle once or twice but it barely got through the large trees.
Up to the overlook
I rode up to this overlook spot to take a good break and enjoy the view.
This was the view. I need to trim those two branches at the top that are messing up the view.
Game cards
I started to head for home from that spot, but instead decided to collect the game cam cards and picked up one here that covers this intersection.
Foxgloves
I rode on past our pond on the way to the next cam. All the green stuff around the pond is Fox gloves coming up. This should be nice in the spring.
I took this short cut and stopped to throw this stuff off the road to get up to the next game cam.
This was the next game cam I stopped at.
From there, I headed down the hill through this area.
Game cam pictures
Besides the foxes going by these two deer went by. This one.
And this one. I think they are up here eating the acorns that are falling right now.
Nice day.
