No plans
I didn’t have anything planned for the day. I was thinking of going for a paddle down at the river. I checked the wind and it wasn’t bad but I decided to do that tomorrow.
The sun was out nice so I did some chair hopping around the yard with the chickens and took it easy and jus enjoyed the yard and the nice day.
Later, in the afternoon I jumped on the dirt bike and rode up into the hills to do some hiking around and some work on a trail. Half way up into the hills I realized I forgot my camera. I seem to be doing that more often lately.
Trail work
I rode around the hills for about an hour then headed over to a trail and walked out it about a half mile or so and widened the trail a bit in a spot.
Before I knew it, it started to get dark on me and my dirt bike doesn’t have a light on it. I was walking back to the dirt bike to head on home when I remembered I had a long sleeved shirt somewhere, but couldn’t remember just where I left it. I walked back down the trail as it seemed like I hung it on a tree somewhere. I found it, right where I left it and put it on as the day was cooling down.
Walking back down the trail for the shirt cost me some more daylight but it was still light enough for me to see the road if I didn’t go too fast. I headed on home and shut the chickens up for the day.
