Chickens
As usual the first thing I did today was go out and feed and water the chickens and make sure they were all doing well.
Fluffy gets a nest box
Last night I moved this hen who is broody and wants to hatch out some eggs into this new nesting box after it got dark as that’s the best time to do it.
Fluffy got right onto the eggs I also moved to the new box and has been in there ever since doing her job.
Lost my camera
I lost my camera somewhere in the yard after taking this picture of some chickens tearing apart this woodchip mulch pile.
So once I misplaced my camera in the yard there were no more pictures until I could find my camera which I didn’t find until I made an all out search after dark when I finally located it on a chair right where I left it.
Van prep
I spent most of the day prepping my van for a trip. I washed some of the stuff in it and looked to see what I will need to resupply for the trip.
Bamboo for poke poles
I also cut five pieces of black bamboo as the guy where I’m headed on the trip asked for some so I got them cut and all trimmed up.
Of course I looked for my camera a couple of times but couldn’t locate it. I’ve done this before many times and as long as I don’t leave it in a place where a sprinkler will get it, it’s not a real problem and eventually I find it.
Washed the bedding
I got all the bedding in the van washed and set out to dry and did some chair hopping and enjoying the nice day.
That was a pretty easy day taking it easy and getting some stuff done that needs getting done.
Nice day.
Oh no! I hope you find your camera! I sure miss my little pocket camera and can’t wait to get it repaired.
Sounds like a nice day prepping. Fluffy certainly has the correct name!
