Forest Work and Blog Transfer Woes

Forest work

I’d left my chainsaw up in the forest the other day when I was doing some work and ran out of gas and forgot it.

Today, I rode on up to where I’d left it and it was still there. I took it home and sharpened up the chain and filled it up with gas and oil.

I had a tree to cut off the road so I rode up this road to where that tree was.road

I parked here and got the saw out to cut the tree up into pieces I could more easily move off the road.tree

That all makes a pile of brush to move off the road.brush

I got that done and moved off to the next thing that needed some work.cleared

I still had lots of gas in the saw so I stopped to cut some of this stump off to make it easier to get by it.stump

I hate to cut on stumps as they have dirt and rocks that can make the chainsaws chain dull fast. I got it cut up before the chain got too dull. I can’t cut it any lower as the rest of it is in the dirt and rocks.trimmed

After that, I went on home and did some chair hopping with the chickens.

Nice day.

Blog moving woes

So far, this  has been a real hassle, mostly because I know so little about how to move it.

I can move back and forth between the old one where you see these posts and to the new one where you won’t see any posts yet as I can’t get that one to work. When I’m working on getting the new one working you won’t see my posts until I stop working on the new one and change it back to the old one.

We seem to be having a problem finding out where my blog’s data is located. Where I think the data is, they don’t think it is, so that’s the problem. It’s possible I’ve lost it all, which would be unfortunate.

Anyway, I have a request in to my old host to let me know where the data might be or is it lost.

So it goes. :O)
