Health Report and a Visit With Larry

Health report

Well, I’m still kicking. About a month ago the docs gave me some meds to retard the eczema and slow down the severe itching and pain.

However when I went to pick up the med, I asked if there was any corn stuff in it. Yes, there was but they said they  had the med in solution form without any corn.

Wrong, wrong, wrong

They were wrong about that, which I found out after using the drug for a couple weeks when my itching got a lot worse, but at least the drug reduced the severe pain a lot.

I’m to get another drug in a couple days which is an injection that is supposed to knock out the eczema which is supposed to work real good. We’ll see.

Doctoring is  a slow process these days, two weeks to get an appointment and then another two weeks to wait for the labs and test to come in.

Larry visits

My cousin Larry who used to live next door to us here came by for a visit for about a week, so we’ve been doing some stuff and went for a ride today in Hondo.

We rode over to the neighbor’s to visit with Jim and his dog. I saw the dog up there so I knew Jim was close by.

Jim was in his shop and came out to visit with us a bit.

We shot the bull for awhile before taking off to continue our ride.

Rest spot

We rode around and eventually made it up to our rest spot at the top of the hill.

We stopped at this spring for a drink of water.

Today’s ride with Larry

We rode up through the state park and stopped here at the top of the hill at an overlook.

From there we headed on over to a neighbor’s that lives close by and turned at the bear.

We parked at the top of a hill we used to call Bald Mountain.

It’s now called Monument Mountain and here’s Larry checking things out.

Visit

From there we headed down to the neighbor’s for a visit. Larry hit it off with the Lady there and shot the bull with her talking about old times.

We headed for home after that.
