Rocking the old road

Since the rain has stopped for a few days, I needed to go up to the old road and haul rock to the wet spots in the road and also to some of the soft spots too.

I rode on up to where my machinery is parked.

I started up Skiddy and let it warm up a bit, then got to moving rock from the rock slide to where it was needed on the road.

I worked all day hauling rock and was just finishing up this spot when some neighbors showed up, so I had to stop a bit to shoot the bull.

Fueling up

I stopped just before dark with enough time left to fuel up the machine. I have an electric fuel pump that helps make that job a lot easier, especially since the fuel containers are all the slow pouring types that are a real pain in the butt,

I made it home just about dark.
