Thursday January 2, 2024 Guerneville CA.
I didn’t have much planned for the day, so with it being a bit cold out and some more rains coming in tonight, it seemed like it might be a good day to do some visiting.
Buying beef
My first visit was to go up into the state park and see if I could find the lady that raises beef and sells them whole or in quarters as I want to buy her grass fed beef as I can get it corn-less. She works up there for the park. But she wasn’t there, but I did shoot the bull with the guys that were there and they were going to send her a message telling her, I’m interested in buying beef.
Old timers
I left the park and headed towards Guerneville and on the way I saw another old timer by his place, but thought I’d come back to his place after I visited another old timer first.
But this other guy and his wife weren’t home.
So, I drove back to the other guy, DeCarley, but he’d just rode his quad runner over to another old timer, Andy Strode, so I thought I could visit them both so drove on over to Andy’s place and was lucky to find them both there. We had a good bull session. I asked if they knew anyone that is selling live beef, but nope.
I left there and ran into Ray S. walking his dog. We talked a bit, but then a car came down the road and we had to move on.
Shopping
From there I headed on into town to fill a couple gas containers with fuel for my side by side and then went over to Safeway to do a bit of shopping.
That all killed most of the day.
