Neighbor visit

I rode my motor bike up into the forest today to visit a neighbor and get some information from him about his generator engine starter module that I’ve been trying to find for him as they no longer make that part.

Water holes

On the way I went by my two water holes to see how they filled up overnight.

I had this one already made and was full of water yesterday.

This is the one I dug yesterday and it has filled up with water nicely.

Now this is starting to  look like something, once some vegetation gets growing.

Ride up

From there I headed on up to my neighbor’s place and went by this new bench that was just installed.

Pretty nice job. The rail is so little kids don’t fall down the hill, which should also help older people from going down there too.

I sat down to check out the view. Nice.

Visit

I had a nice visit with my neighbor, then went on home for a nap.

Skiddy Work

I rode on up into the forest to where Skiddy was parked as I had a little job for it today.

I found it parked, right where I left it.

I started it up and let it warm up a bit then headed down this road to where I had some work to do.

Water hole

I had some work to do at this little water hole. I wanted to increase the size of that water hole, not by making it larger, but by making another little water hole along side the first one, so there’d be two water holes.

I did a bit of digging and smoothing things out and parked the rig and got out to check things out.

I dug things out behind this water hole to make a second water hole.

It’s rather hard to see right now. It will show up better when it fills with water and if it doesn’t have a bad leak in it.

After getting that job done, I drove Skiddy back up to it’s parking spot and went on home for a nap.

l spent the rest of the day taking it easy.
