Raining
It seemed like it would be a day of rain and it was.
I had a doctors appointment at the VA today so the rain wasn’t going to bother me.
It was raining when I left to go to my appointment and when I got out of there.
Unfortunately, I left my rain jacket on a chair in the Doc’s exam room which is behind many locked doors at the VA. I finally found my nurse and asked her to retrieve my jacket which she said she’d do after checking in the next patient,…………..But.
I waited for over a half hour for her to show up with my rain jacket, but she never did, so I stood at the locked door to the exam rooms and waited for the next person to come out of the door and asked nicely about my rain jacket. We went back into where the maze of exam rooms are to find the room but I gave up as there are just too many of them and they all have locked doors and they all look alike to me.
She finally said to sit down right there and I’ll find that nurse for you, so I sat down and waited.
About five minutes later the nurse showed up with my rain jacket. That all just took me about 45 minutes.
Shopping
As long as I was in the shopping area, I went over to Costco to shop. Being the day after Christmas the place was real busy, but by the time I got to the cashiers, late in the day, most of the cashers weren’t busy so I got right out of there and headed on home, still raining.
Nice day.
