Waterfall
It rained enough the other day to get our little waterfall running. The first thing we did was head on up to check it out.
With the fresh rains, all the green stuff looks real green.
The waterfall has a nice little pool of water at the base.
This is looking back from the waterfall, lots of big green ferns. A very lush place.
We rode around for a bit trimming the trees off the road that had fallen during the storms. Mostly small ones.
Main spring
We stopped at our main spring for a drink of water.
We threw a lot of this smaller stuff off the roads. Good thing most of it was small as we didn’t have a chainsaw with us. You get lots of exercise moving this stuff off the roads.
Drink of water
Which meant we needed another drink of water so we stopped at this spring.
Eventually we ended up at our main break area at the top and sat down for a good break.
Tom showed up to join us for a bit.
Then we headed back down the hill and stopped here to trim some brush off along the sides of the road. After a couple hundred feet, I cried Uncle and said enough for now.
And this little one was still stuck firmly in the ground, so we could only get enough of the end of it off to get by.
New toy tryout
On the way back to my house Barry rode over to have a look at my new machine. I said, take it for a ride around the circle here. He first said no, but with a little encouragement, he jumped in the machine and I showed him enough to get it moving.
That was enough to get him hooked. He says we should buy a couple more of them so we all have one to tool around on. Tom wants one too. But I think this one should be enough for all of us.
Nice day.
I am laughing. If all three brothers each have a machine, no telling what might be left as it is now in the landscape.
