Blog transfer
I’m still working on getting that done. But for now, I’m stuck until I get some more information from my old blog host. I didn’t hear back from them today. I hope the information I need is forthcoming. If I don’t get the information I need, I’ll have to resort to plan B and likely loose some of my old posts and photos which I’m trying to avoid.
Time will tell.
Filling up some holes in the bulkhead
I had a few holes to fill up with dirt on the bulkhead repair project. I just needed to move five or six loads of dirt in the wheel barrel to get the job done, so I got started on it.
I had some good dirt not far from the holes that needed to be filled up.
It wasn’t long before I had enough dirt to fill up those holes and that was done.
Outdoor cam spot
This is one of the spots I have an outdoor cam set up to watch rats at the bait station on the left. The cam is in the box on the right. The cam is waterproof. The box just gives it a little more protection from the elements.
Here it is in the box. It’s hooked to my computer with Wi-Fi and records all motion it sees. One of the drawbacks I’ve discovered is the fog that comes in during the night triggers the motion detector, so I get more motion detection shots than I need and it tends to hide the motion from critters that get in front of the cam.
Trail work
After a good rest I hopped on the bike and rode on up into the hills to get some exercise working on improving a trail up there. I worked on that for a couple hours, until the sun went down and it was getting too dark. The bike has no headlight so I hurried on home.
