I needed a ride up the hill to put some gas in my dirt bike which I left up there yesterday when I ran it out of gas.
My ride
My brother Tom and Dominique were headed up there to do some wild mushroom hunting so I was able to catch a ride with them. Just before we got to the bike, we had to clear this downed tree out of the way so we could get by.
I found my bike had tipped over during the night from the kick stand sinking into the ground. I got it tipped back up and filled it with gas. Might as well go for a short ride around the hills before going back home. It was a bit misty for most of the day and slightly wet too.
I had planned to do some trail work, but I wasn’t into it with the overcast day, so I just rode around for a bit stopping here at an overlook.
From there, I rode on home and went in for a nap and took it easy for the rest of the day.
Nice day.
Maybe leaning the bike against the bank or a tree trunk may help with falling completely over issue. Much easier to pick it up from a slight lean than a total fall.
