Chicken doors
I needed to make a couple chicken doors in the side of the coop today.
It takes me a while to get the body moving in the morning so I started by cutting some rebar for another panel. I set up the panel to weld and then moved to the chicken door project.
I’m building two doors so I can let the chickens into two different pens if I want to. I moved the fence out of the way as it goes between the two doors and would make it harder to work. The panels are easy to move, just cut a couple wires and move it a bit.
Only chicken doors
I didn’t make very neat cuts but it’s only chicken doors. I just cut out the two by fours.
I cut and screwed in the inside supports for the doors.
Good to go
Here’s the finished doors with the pen divider put back in place.
Wiring panels
After a good break I cut some more wire for panels and put some of the wire on, but was getting tired out later in the day, so was slowing down.
Last project today
I did weld up this last side panel before I ran out of gas and chair hopped for the rest of the day.
I did visit my cherry trees several times during the day. They are going fast as the birds are helping me out.
These panels will complete all my side panels but I still have several ceiling panels to make yet.
Tomorrow I hope to get all these panels wired up and installed.
That was my day.
You are not only chair hopping, you are hopping from job to job.
Things are getting done toute suite!
For the last few times I’ve posted, I’ve had to put my name, email and website in. Something must have changed on your site. This time I noticed I could check off to save them. :)
