Bulldozer wakeup
I hadn’t messed with the bulldozer for a long time, so today I got my stuff together and drove on up the hill to where it was parked.
Battery
I was pretty sure the battery wasn’t going to have enough juice in it to start it, and it didn’t.
I removed the battery to take it home and put it on the charger.
Then I gave it a good grease job and that was all I could do for now, until I get the battery charged up.
I stopped here to dig out a bit of dirt in this new ditch.
I left there, but didn’t get far before I ran into this limb across the road. I used the chainsaw on it.
And this was the next one I ran into. I used the chainsaw on it, but that caused the chain to fall off. I got it cut just before that happened.
Back home, I put the battery on the charger.
I think it was nap time after that.
Later in the day, I drove Skiddy up into the hills to the rock slide to get another load of rock for the creek bulkhead I’m fixing up.
I’m dumping the load just up ahead between those two little trees.
I dumped the load of rock in the bulkhead.
I think I have enough rock in the bulkhead now. I got down there and moved some of the rock around by hand to get it in the spots it missed.
It’s going to start raining soon, so I needed to tarp my metal work table. I oiled it up first, then put the tarp on it and tilted it so no water would settle on it.
And I needed to put the van away for the winter, so I cleared a spot, but at the last minute, I decided to leave the van out to get rained on as it would wash it off a bit and maybe clean off the solar panels. I’ll put it away after the first rain.
And I went out to the chicken pen and got a dozen eggs as I thought they would be nice for dinner.
Nice day.
