Forest ride
Barry and I took off for a ride around in the forest around noon today. Like always we rode around and around on the roads and trails.
Visit
Then we rode up to my Cousin’s place to visit with her and her husband for awhile. We talked about some erosion control work on their roads. My plan is to fix up their roads so they drain well and don’t wash out, when I get my new machine which I hope is soon. This will be good for me to learn how to run this new machine and see what it can do.
Break time
Then we got back on our bikes and rode up through their place to this place, our break area at the top of the mountain.
It was getting late in the day, so it wasn’t going to be too long before the sun went down behind the hills to the west, over the ocean. With today’s overcast, the day was a bit on the chilly side.
Back home, my other brother Tom came by and we shot the bull for awhile.
Oil change
I didn’t really feel like changing the bike’s oil, but the oil was still hot so I got the stuff to do the job. It was really pretty easy and didn’t take very long to do.
My blog transfer
I’d been waiting for an email from the guy who got my blog working again after it crashed on failing to do an automatic upgrade. I needed to know some stuff he did so I could proceed to get the job done.
I got his reply and it was all good and he said the right things and he set some stuff up to make the job easier.
So, I’m deleting what I’d already tried to do to set it up and will make a clean start. I won’t have to shut the blog down while this process is taking place and when it gets done, you won’t notice anything different. At least that is the plan.
Doing this stuff is sorta a pain, but it’s also a game to play. My main problem is I don’t do this stuff enough to remember what to do and older age doesn’t help that one bit. :O)
Nice day.
I’m missing the wildlife photos that used to be at the beginning of the day’s entry. Maybe they’re temporarily disabled from transferring the blog.
Happy trails : )
I love the views from your rest spots. Good luck with the change over.
