Cutting metal
I needed to get my 20 foot long, one inch metal cut in half, so I could put them away. I got my heavy chop saw out and set up and hauled the heavy metal to it and measured and marked it.
Cutting the metal in half was the easy part with the chop saw.
Cutting was easy
Moving the heavy metal was the harder part and I got plenty of exercise doing it and needed a couple breaks in the process. I kept at it and got all the ten foot pieces put away on my metal rack in the garage. I was pretty warn out after that.
Tubing
After a good break, I set up the two pieces of metal tubing I had, to cut them in half too, but thinking on it, I decided not to cut them in half as I might have a use for twenty footers for marking guides when I get and put up a 20 by 20 foot RV cover I’m thinking of getting.
Where to put them
I searched for a place to store them out of the rain and out of the way and finally found a place, so moved them there. They were much lighter than the solid one inch diameter rods, so much easier on me.
I then put the heavy chop saw back in the garage and then another good break as I was beat.
That was enough hard work to wear me out for the day.
Later, I took my gas cans down to Guerneville to fill them up and after that did some chair hopping around the yard for the rest of the day, between naps.
