New Fan Bracket and Removed the Old Winch from the Van

Van Work

I needed to continue to work on the van projects as they need to get done.

I got out the tools and stuff and set up to work on things.

New fan bracket

I continued to work on the new radiator fan bracket. It needs some way to fasten the top of it down.

I made that ear at the top and welded it on. This is now ready to go except for some paint which  I will put on tonight.

Dumped the old winch

I decided to remove the old winch instead of fixing it as the price to fix it for something I never use was more than I wanted to spend. It came off fairly easily.

Installing new wires

The only problem with taking the winch off is that is where my radiator fans get their power so I needed to run some new wires for power so I worked on that and got that done

Testing

Once I had power I tested out the new fan to make sure it worked, making sure I hooked it up so it blew the right way.

That was as much as I could do until I get the new bracket painted up and besides the day was almost done.

Evening

I did some chair hopping and let the chickens out into the yard to graze.

The day cooled down early so I locked up the chickens for the night and went in for the day.

Good day. I almost got the van work done and had  a bit of sun shine on me today too.
