Blade part

John Deere emailed me that my replacement blade part had come in so I needed to go down and pick it up.

They’d agreed to pay for the part, but I will have to install it myself which looks pretty easy.

Cell phone provider change

I picked that up and then made my way to a T-Mobile place to get a new cell phone provider as the one I have doesn’t do WIFI calling which I need at my house to use the cell phone as the cell signal is very low here.

The only problem I had making the transfer was understanding the Tech that I was talking to on the cell phone to get the number transferred.  I finally got what I needed from the guy and the T-Mobile guy set my cell phone up from there. He did have some problems as his internet connection wasn’t working part of the time.

He kept at it and I was good to go, so I headed for home and a nap.

State Parks Meet Up

We were to meet with some state park guys and some people from the  League of the Redwoods today so they could review our property which we’d like to get into the state parks system.

Our plan is for them to buy it and then let us use the place like we always have for the rest of our lives.

They met us here at ten this morning for a hike and a tour in my side by side.

Talking Trees Trail

After a good chat, we headed on up the Talking Trees trail to show them some of our property.

Waterfall area

We took them up to the waterfall, even though there wasn’t much water coming down the falls. But even without the water, it’s a real  nice area.

Barry  makes it to the falls first.

Eventually, they all made it to the falls where we had some more discussions about the property.

And then we headed back down the trail, the way we’d come up it.

It’s a rather nice trail and easy to walk on.

We made it back to where we started from.

And showed them around the place down here a bit.

Side by sides

Then we all piled in the side by sides and rode around the roads up in the hills so they could see what was up there.

We stopped here at the Guerneville overlook which is an impressive spot to view the little town of Guerneville from.

We rode around most of the roads up there and stopped at this overlook, before heading back down the hill to where we started from.

Review

We ended up here for a review of what they thought of the place which was mostly positive.

Now we’ll wait and see what develops.
