Dirt bike ride day
I was preparing to go shopping today at the shopping centers but when I looked out the window I saw Barry there with his truck and dirt bike so plans changed.
We were sitting around getting ready to go when my other brother Tom came by.
Start of crab season
Crab season opens so they were doing some planning to go out on boats in the ocean to get some fresh crab this week. I get too motion sick to go out in the ocean, so I don’t do it, but wish I could.
Dressing warm
It was rather cool today, so I got on extra shirts before Barry and I took off on a ride into the hills.
Big clouds
We rode on up to our rest spot at the mountain top. Some big clouds were coming in and it looked like we might get a shower or two.
Rest spot
This is our rest spot at the top of the mountain and we are taking a break.
Some of the clouds were getting pretty dark when we took off again.
Getting wet
It wasn’t long before we got caught in a light shower and were getting wet before we pulled under some trees to wait for the shower to stop which it did in about five minutes. Good thing as we didn’t have any rain gear on.
Looking around
We rode up to this spot where we stopped to do some exploring around for a bit, on foot.
Cold today
Barry didn’t put on enough warm clothes so we cut it short and headed on home for the day.
Heavy rain showers
He took off for home and shortly, the real heavy rain showers started and continued off and on for the rest of the day. We would have gotten real wet from one of these showers so we quit right about the right time.
Nice and warm
I cooked up a big pot of Navy beans and stayed in the house for most of the day where it was nice and dry and warm.
While looking for today’s pictures this picture showed up for some reason of a camp spot on our recent trip. This was a nice spot.
