Redwood forest
The sun was out nice today so I got the quad runner out and drove on up into the hills for a hike and a ride.
I stopped here for a hike down the water line trail.
The water line trail goes through some nice forest this a way.
Lots of nice big green ferns along the way.
I walked through this area taking my time.
And finished up here which was almost back to the quad runner where I parked it.
Sorrel
There was lots of this green grass called sorrel.
A nice ride
I pretty much wore myself out walking along on that trail so I was happy to get back on the quad runner.
I rode around the hills for a bit going this way.
I did a little work like moving this kind of stuff off the road when I came across it.
I rode through here, everything is green.
And down through here headed to our water tanks to see if they were full of water.
Checking the water tanks
I stopped at the water tanks to check them out. The gauge said they were full of water.
And the overflow pipe from the tanks was flowing nicely so all was good.
Worn out
From there I headed on home. When I got there I was plumb worn out and needed a good nap and that was it for me today.
Nice hike and a nice ride through the green forest.
Sure is gorgeous country.
That sounds like a nice hike but the walk trail doesn’t look wide enough! Goodness! The sorrel is a beautiful plant. I’d love some in my garden. It has a resemblence to clover leaves.
