Phone guy
I heard a beep in the yard this morning and I wasn’t up yet, although, it was almost noon. I looked out the window to see the phone guy out there so I quickly got dressed.
I went out and showed him the damage from the big redwood tree limb which had fallen on my phone like the other day. I left him at it.
After the rain
Well, almost, as it was still spitting out some showers. I made sure my chainsaw was in my rig and I got the fuel loaded to fuel up Skiddy and headed out.
I didn’t get far before I had to stop to cut this up which I did.
I didn’t run into any other big trees across the road on the way up to where Skiddy was parked. I did stop and cut some hanging branches off the road. The water from the rain makes some of the overhanging branch droop down low on the road.
Fueling Skiddy
I made it up to Skiddy and got set up to fill up Skiddy’s fuel tank. The 12 volt pump sure helps a lot for that.
The road
From there I drove on over to the road I was doing repairs on in the park and checked it out. The rock I put on the slippery part the other day looked real good and seems to have solved the problem. I checked the whole road and it all seemed to be ok, which was good.
From there I went up to my cousin’s place to give them an, all clear, for the road as they are headed to a doctor’s appointment tomorrow.
Break time
From there I headed on over to one of our break areas for a break.
The rain had moved out and left some big clouds.
And a big shining sun.
On the way home, I stopped in several places to trim hanging branches off the road as I went.
