Dealing With a Scammed Card and Getting My Teeth Cleaned

My card got scammed

Last month as I was preparing to go on a trip for about a month I had an incident using my debit card. I went on down to the band to see if my card had any bad charges on it, but all was good, or so I thought.

I finally got around to checking out my bank statement last night. It had a small fee for an international transfer fee on it of a dollar twenty that caught my eye. Looking further I found some more bad charges on it, so I called the number on the card to report it and dumped that card. We found thirteen bad charges on the card. I ordered up a new card and they said I needed to go down to the bank and fill out a form soon which I planned to do today, after I got my teeth cleaned.

Barry shows up

I heard Barry out front with his motor bike so I went out to tell him he was on his own today as I had previous plans.

Dentist and the bank

My dentist had a new person cleaning teeth which turned out to be a good one. We got that done and I  headed on over to the bank. I figured the bank wouldn’t be so busy in the afternoon, so they’d have more time to help get the form filled out. That worked out well as there weren’t any other costumers in the bank, so there was no hurry and they helped me get the form filled out, which was my claim to get the bad charges returned to my account. I’d written the dates and the amounts of the bad charges down on a piece of paper so we didn’t have to figure that all out at the bank.

Barry has a boo boo

When I pulled into the gate on my driveway, Barry was just pulling out. It turned out his bike ran out of oil going up a steep hill and he barely made it home. He was able to ride it home by staying off steep hills as there was still a little oil in there. It sounds like the bike might be ok once he puts more oil in there. We shot the bull a bit and he took off for home.

Nap time

I needed one of those, so that’s what I did. I couldn’t really get it going after that, so I did some chair hopping and enjoying the yard for the rest of the day.

Nice day.

Bummer about the bank charges. You are fortunate to have a physical bank with people to go to.
