Blackberry vines
With all the rain we had last winter the blackberry vines have really gotten ahead of me.
They overrun most anything in the yard and they hurt if you get too close to them.
I clipped a few of the vines here and then moved on.
I really needed to remove these ones so I could get to a gate behind them that goes to the chicken’s pen.
So I worked on cutting these vines for a few hours until I got too tired out and sore.
I barely made a dent in the vines, but I did make it to the gate back there.
After that, I went in the house for a good nap and never recovered after that for the day.
I did get out and did some chair hopping and noticed these pink flowers are in their prime.
Pink Naked Ladies
These flowers bloom about now and just pop out of the ground with no other vegetation.
They pop up in this nice pinkish color.
