Nice Spring Day Working In the Forest Doing Trail Work

Forest work

Having nothing better to do today, I rode the dirt bike up into the forest to work on the old trail going up there on this road.

I parked the bike and walked out this part of the trail.

I had stashed the tools out there already so I collected them and got to work on this part of the trail, just fixing it up a bit to improve it.

After that and a good rest, I continued on out the trail through here.

I did some work on the trail just past this big tree as it was very narrow here.

I finally had to stop as I was worn out so I stashed the tools and started back up the trail at a slow pace as I was pretty beat.

This log by the trail was welcome. I sat on it for a good bit resting up and enjoying the forest.

After a good break there, I continued on up through here.

I made it to the chair where I spent some time, resting up.

I made it back to where the dirt bike was parked and sat in this spot for a bit, before heading for home.

Time to get on home, so I jumped on the bike and took off headed down the hill.

Back home, I let the chickens out to graze the front yard.

And noticed my pink climbing rose was getting ready to bloom.

And spotted this quail sneaking through the yard with it’s mate. He was standing guard for her at this spot.
